Project Overview
The City of Holdfast Bay is constructing two pedestrian refuges along Adelphi Crescent, with footpaths to connect to the Patawalonga Shared Pathway. Bus Stop 19 will also be upgraded to meet current standards.
The project is split across two sites. The northern site is located in front of the Patawilys Reserve, and the southern site is located between the King Street Bridge and St. Anne's Terrace.
Construction is expected to start in mid-October 2025, and depending on the contractor’s scheduling, completion of the works is expected by mid-December 2025.
Traffic management will be erected to facilitate construction, with the setup dependent on the time of day, to cater for peak hour periods. We will work with our selected contractor to minimise impacts on traffic flows and adjacent residents, which may include night works for specific project stages. Separate notifications will be provided to residents if this is determined as required.
Street signage will be in place 10 working days prior to the commencement of construction and will be maintained throughout the duration of the project to advise motorists of the works.
