Consultation has concluded

We invite you to share your feedback on the City of Holdfast Bay's Draft By-laws 2019. The draft By-laws have been developed by the Regulatory Services Department and approved by Council.

By-laws are used to manage, control and regulate activities within the boundaries of the City.By-laws are supplementary to existing legislation, and are made under the Local Government Act. By-laws expire every seven years and need to be reviewed, updated and endorsed by Council.

The Draft By-laws are available to view here and we welcome your feedback that will be submitted through to the manager of Regulatory Services for consideration.

There are six By-laws to be reviewed:

  1. Permits and Penalties By-law 2019
  2. Movable Signs By-law 019
  3. Roads By-law 2019
  4. Dogs By-law 2019
  5. Cats By-law 2019
  6. Local Government land By-law 2019

This 22 day engagement opened 23 April and closeed on 14 May 2019.
