At a council meeting on Tuesday 27 August 2019, City of Holdfast Bay’s Elected Members endorsed a motion regarding the possible realignment of boundaries for Marino and Glengowrie.

The motion, submitted by Holdfast Bay Mayor Amanda Wilson, seeks the go-ahead for council to investigate whether there is community support for the realignment of the boundaries and, if so, to provide support to groups who may wish to bring a community-led application.

“Marino and Glengowrie residents have regularly approached myself and other Elected Members to outline their interest in being aligned with the City of Holdfast Bay,” said Amanda Wilson, City of Holdfast Bay Mayor.
