The City of Holdfast Bay is excited to bring back the 4th annual Glenelg Ice Cream Festival —

South Australia’s biggest celebration of all things sweet! This iconic summer event transforms Jetty Road into a vibrant street party filled with seaside vibes, family fun, and, of course, incredible ice cream.

Visitors will enjoy a huge variety of frozen treats — from classic favourites to dairy-free and vegan options — crafted by the state’s best artisan makers. Alongside the ice cream, Jetty Road will come alive with pop-up stalls, delicious food, live entertainment, and extended shopping hours.

This festival is more than just ice cream — it’s a celebration of community! Families can enjoy free activities, games, crafts, face painting, karaoke, and live music throughout Jetty Road and Moseley Square. Plus, we’re expanding our dog-friendly zone.

The event will be held from 4pm - 10pm, Friday 6 February 2026.

Note: Jetty Road will be closed to traffic from 11:30am Friday 6 February, and reopen approximately 1:30am Saturday 7 February 2026.
