Consultation has concluded

On Thursday 15 April 2021, We asked for your feedback on the City of Holdfast Bay’s draft Gullies Masterplans.

Background
There are three gullies in the City of Holdfast Bay: Pine, Barton, and Gilbertson Gullies. These are some of our most prominent and valuable natural areas. The masterplans for these gullies are high-level plans that set the objectives and strategies to manage the gullies for the community now and for the future.
The purpose of the masterplans is to have high-level plans that set the objectives and strategies to manage the gullies for the community for the next three to five years.

Community engagement and outcomes
Nine submissions were received during the community feedback which resulted in the following changes, before being endorsed by council;

  • Pine Gully:
    • Corrected some of the history.
    • Updated the timing and actions of some of the biodiversity works.
  • Barton Gully:
    • Updated the timing and actions of some of the biodiversity works.
  • Gilbertson Gully:
    • Minor word change regarding the trails.
  • Updated the timing and actions of some of the biodiversity works.

We would like to thank everyone who contributed their feedback.

The final versions of the masterplans were approved by council on Tuesday 10 August 2021.
