Masterplan Review

28 March 2018

In 2017, Council sought funding for detailed design for Stages 4 & 6 of the Masterplan (the nature play-space and re-vegetation of the southern end of the reserve) however were unsuccessful on two occasions.

At the meeting on 13 March 2018 Council resolved to enter into a Cultural Heritage Management Agreement with the Kaurna Nations Cultural Heritage Association (KNCHA) before continuing with the remainder of the implementation of the Master Plan.

As a result of this process, it was acknowledged that the current Master Plan does not best represent the cultural heritage of the site. Council has resolved to undertake a review of the 2015 Master Plan alongside KNCHA in a co-design approach.
