Project Overview
Thank you for your feedback
Thank you to everyone who took the time to provide feedback on the future of Parkinson Reserve as part of the recent “Parkinson Reserve – Sporting Equipment” community consultation. Your input has been invaluable in helping shape the direction of this important community space. Council is now in a position to be undertaking both the playspace redevelopment and the sports infrastructure installations in the one project. This means that, subject to the 2026/27 budget approvals, Parkinson Reserve will receive a new playspace and sports infrastructure as part of the one redevelopment. All feedback received to date will be carefully considered and incorporated into the planning and design of the renewed playspace.

Next steps
Subject to budget approvals, the renewal of the Parkinson Reserve playspace is now scheduled for delivery in the 2026–27 financial year, meaning we will coordinate the playspace redevelopment with the sports infrastructure installations.
All feedback received during the recent engagement process will be carefully considered and incorporated into the planning and design of the renewed playspace.
