Project Overview
The City of Holdfast Bay redeveloped the old public toilets at the Seacliff Foreshore and replaced them with a new amenities building and improved beach access.
The new amenities building are now on the same level as the footpath and include:
- 5 unisex toilets
- 1 disability toilet and shower
- Outdoor public shower area and handwashing station
- Improved beach ramp access for pedestrians and surf club vehicles
An important aspect of the project has been the upgrade of the area surrounding the new amenities building, which created continuous widened footpaths with more circulation space to improve access to the amenities area and beach for people with disabilities.
We acknowledge the Kaurna people as the Traditional Custodians of the Adelaide region and respect their spiritual relationship and cultural beliefs that remain important to the Kaurna people today.
