All aboard the free Jetty Road Loop bus service

30 September 2025

We’re making it easier to get around the Jetty Road Glenelg precinct, while construction works are underway, with the launch of a free Jetty Road Loop bus service.

The bus service will launch on Wednesday 1 October 2025 and will be trialled for six weeks on Wednesdays, between 10am – 2pm.

It will connect seven key stops around the Glenelg precinct, approximately every 20 minutes, and the stops can be found at:

  • 11 Gordon Street, eastern side
  • 5 High Street, southern side
  • 1 Elizabeth Street, northern side in front of Glenelg Allied Health Clinic
  • 109 Jetty Road, in front of Lucky Vietnamese
  • Anzac Highway, southern side in front of Liberty Towers
  • 11 Colley Terrace, outside Glenelg Library
  • In front of Coles, inside the car park

Anyone can use the free service which is designed to support local businesses, residents and visitors during the busy transformation period.

The trial will run for approximately six weeks, with feedback collected via surveys and QR codes displayed on the bus and at stops.

Just keep an eye out for the bus which will be branded Jetty Road Loop Bus and jump on board – no tickets or bookings are required.

The bus has an in-built wheelchair lift as well.
