Colley Terrace paving progress

12 February 2026

More than 1000 square metres has been paved to create a plaza effect from the corner across Colley Terrace to Moseley Square, as part of the Transforming Jetty Road Glenelg project.

Completing this section has been a focus for the construction team since work resumed on 5 January 2026, as we work towards the reopening of the Jetty Road / Colley Terrace corner to all vehicles, including buses.

The remaining sections of footpaths along Jetty Road up to the Partridge / Gordon streets intersection are also prepared for paving, with all concrete substrates poured and now curing before paving begins.

As the paving crews work along the street, some temporary closures of isolated parking bays and side street intersections with Jetty Road will be required to provide a safe work zone and accommodate machinery.

While Colley Terrace remains under construction, Durham Street will continue to operate in a southerly direction.

However access to Jetty Road is closed and vehicles are required to exit via Chittleborough Lane which connects through to Sussex Street.

Moseley Street traffic will be directed onto Jetty Road via a right hand turn only during the Colley Terrace construction works.

The Transforming Jetty Road Glenelg project remains on track to be completed in the second half of 2026.
