Construction footprint to expand from 1 September

26 August 2025

The Transforming Jetty Road Glenelg construction footprint will expand on two fronts next week, north along Colley Terrace and east along Jetty Road.

From Monday 1 September, the footprint will extend north on Colley Terrace to the junction with Hope Street.

Pedestrian access across Colley Terrace, from Jetty Road to Moseley Square, will be maintained.

The service lane will be accessible, behind the Glenelg Library, and visitors to Colley Towers will still have access via the northern driveway.

The construction footprint will also extend east along Jetty Road to Byron Street.

This means there will be no traffic access to or from Jetty Road into Waterloo Street.

Waterloo Street will remain two-way with a turnaround point put in place just before the Jetty Road junction.

All traffic on Waterloo Street will be required to exit Waterloo Street in a northerly direction towards Augusta Street. Pedestrians can still access Jetty Road from Waterloo Street.

The Byron Street / Jetty Road junction remains open to traffic.

All other temporary traffic changes and road closures remain in place.
