Upcoming construction of Rose Street junction

26 August 2025

From 6am on Saturday 30 August until 6am on Monday 1 September 2025, there will be no entry into Rose Street from Jetty Road, and Rose Street will temporarily become a two-way street from Augusta Street.

The northern side of Jetty Road, on either side of the Rose Street junction, will be under traffic management to maintain two-way traffic movements between Gordon / Partridge streets and Brighton Road.

At times over the weekend, access to Rose Street from Augusta Street will also be under traffic management to facilitate the movement of delivery trucks to the Woolworths delivery dock.

Traffic management will be in place from early Saturday morning to early afternoon and again on Sunday afternoon.

Traffic delays on Augusta Street and Rose Street can be expected during this time while the delivery trucks enter and exit Rose Street.

The temporary road restrictions will be in place to allow for the installation of raised, continuous footpaths on Jetty Road, across Rose Street, as part of the Transforming Jetty Road Glenelg project.
