Site investigation works – Jetty Road Brighton Road Improvements

3 September 2026

The City of Holdfast Bay will be undertaking site investigation works, including geotechnical drilling, along Jetty Road Brighton between Brighton Road and The Esplanade.

Works are scheduled from Tuesday 8 September to Thursday 10 September 2026.

The works will commence near Brighton Road and progressively move west towards The Esplanade. To enable the works to be carried out safely and efficiently, temporary parking restrictions and traffic management measures will be in place between 7.00am and 5.00pm each day.

There will be no road closures, and all parking spaces will remain available outside of these hours.

Temporary parking restrictions will be installed at least 24 hours before they come into effect, with applicable dates and times displayed on the signs. Vehicles parked within restricted areas during the designated times may be removed in accordance with the Road Traffic Act 1961, the Local Government Act 1999, and/or the Heavy Vehicle National Law (as applicable). As the works progress, the restricted areas will move west along Jetty Road.

Residents, businesses and visitors may experience some intermittent noise during the works. Every effort will be made to minimise noise and reduce disruption as much as possible.

These investigations will help inform the design of the Jetty Road Brighton renewal and improvement project, scheduled for 2027-28.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while these works are undertaken.
