Unfortunately, the concrete works completed in the roadway at the Northern Site will be removed and reconstructed, as the project team and contractors agree that the quality does not meet expectations. These rectification works are expected to begin Friday 7 November, which will see a hard closure to the Northern Site once again and a detour set up around the Patawilys Reserve.

While unfortunate, this necessary interruption will ensure that our city's infrastructure is built to a high level for the community and visitors of Holdfast Bay, and in accordance with engineering standards.
