Works have commenced at the Southern Site, with the contractor to further mobilise early next week. The works within the reserve space are underway, with the contractor erecting traffic management to ensure the safety of both workers and the community.

The traffic management consists of a reduced speed limit on Adelphi Terrace, between the King Street Bridge & St Annes Terrace. As works move into the roadway, between the hours of 9am and 3pm, traffic will travel via shuttle flow, where the road will be reduced to a single lane and traffic controllers with stop/slow signs will stop one lane of traffic, while the other lane of traffic slowly drives past the work site. Shuttle flow is only in effect between these specific hours to minimise disruption to peak hour traffic periods. Outside of the 9am to 3pm work period, two lanes of traffic will be maintained.
